Immediately after graduating from Bethany College with a degree in Economics, Jerry began his insurance career in 1967 in Buffalo, New York, as a marketing representative for the Aetna Life and Casualty and was later assigned to its Harrisburg Branch office. Upon leaving the company in 1972, Jerry joined the agency ranks, working first for several local agencies before establishing his own agency, Cumberland Valley Insurance, in 1980.
In 1974 he attained the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) and again in 2000 received the designation Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). |

Vice President
Jim began his career in 1995 as an agent with Cumberland valley Insurance after having earning his B.A. degree from Bethany College. Since that time he has been a major contributor to the agency's growth. While primarily focusing on commercial lines accounts, Jim also works with personal lines including Life and Disability Insurance.
In 2002 he attained the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and is currently working toward the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. |
