Valuable Items
Are your most valuable possessions protected from loss? Your possessions are worth a lot to you, especially certain ones that reflect your personal interests and taste.
While coverage for valuables is afforded for most claims under a home, condo or renters policy, there are sub limits on these policies for theft claims. To be sure that your valuables are covered properly, you can specifically list them on your policy or purchase a separate Valuable Items policy to cover them.
Many different types of possessions can be accommodated by a Valuable Items policy.
Here's a quick listing of some of the items typically covered:
- Cameras
- China and crystal
- Coins
- Firearms
- Furs
- Golfer's equipment
- Jewelry
- Musical instruments
- Personal computers
- Sports collectibles and memorabilia
- Stamps
- Silverware
- Works of fine art, including paintings, etchings, pictures and other bona fide works of art (such as oriental rugs, statuary, rare books, manuscripts and bric-a-brac) of rarity, historical value or artistic merit.
If you own something of value that is not listed above, it may still be eligible for coverage. Contact us to discuss covering your valuables.
